The German Society for Mucosal Immunology and Microbiome (DGMIM e.V.) was founded in 2009.
Aims of DGMIM are the promotion and performance of science and research in the area of Biology and Immunology of intestinal mucosa and gut flora. One of the major research objectives thereby is the effect of probiotics on intestinal health and the whole body.

DGMIM e.V. wants  to inform the consumer about results of research and science in a comprehensible way and independent of industrial interests.
